While the media tries to reduce vaping to a low-class hobby, true vapers understand that we are a diverse and passionate bunch. However, it does seem that there is a hierarchy of vaping users.

From Rookie to Diva to Mixologist, here are the six most common vaper personality types.

Rookie

You’re just getting started in the vaping world. Maybe you’ve tried the disposable e-cigarettes you find at the grocery store, but now you’ve bought your first vaporizer and officially graduated to rookie vaping. You hang around smoking areas at work, restaurants, and concerts just to show smokers how easy life is for a vaper.

Of course you may also be turned down by those who still don't understand, but your efforts will always be worth it if you can convince even one person to switch from cigarettes to e-cigarettes.

Why choose one essential oil when you can have both? It's not indecision, it's creativity!

Specialist Vaper

What would your local vape shop do without you? Every time you come in to refill your e-juice or change your wicks, the shop owner will ask you to guide new customers. You’re a veteran in the vaping world and a trusted advisor if someone wants advice or a review.

You take great pride in your expertise, but never look down on newcomers who still don't know the difference between a cartomizer and a tank. You're always willing to share your cloud trick skills with anyone who's interested.

Loyalist Vaper

You know what you like and you are not going to change it. You bought your VT 75 last year and it is still working fine, so why fix or replace it?

You charge the battery fully every night, you maintain it regularly, and you always set the exact essential oil you want before you use up the last bottle. Some people might think you’re crazy and out of date. You just think you’re dedicated.

Diva Vaper (Superstar Vaper)

On the other hand, Loyalist, you’ve been in the vaping world since the beginning. The equipment needs to be as new as possible. You like having a wide variety of e-juices, cartridges, batteries, and machines so you can mix and match to your liking. Why waste precious resources?
